Computer & Networking Services (CNS) was formed by Kevin E. Greene in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2001.  Kevin used his ten years of computer consulting expertise to create the business dedicated to networking excellence.  During his career he has had the opportunity to acquire a comprehensive data technology background.  He has used this skill set to provide a full service network consulting company.

CNS provides a complete range of networking service, from designing nation wide high-speed data networks to outsourcing of network administration.  All aspects of the services offered by CNS are backed with industry-recognized certifications.  The commitment to training, certification and experience guarantees the customer that all work preformed is done by a qualified Network Engineer.

Wide Area Networking (WAN)

CNS has the training and experience in the design and implementation of nationwide data communications networks.  CNS has the Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) qualifications.  As well as Marconi (FORE Systems) ATM training for high speed, highly reliable, and manageable networks for communication service providers.  This level of knowledge allows CNS to offer services to companies of all sizes and communication needs.

Local Area Networking (LAN)

To create an efficient and manageable local area network, design and implementation standards must be followed.  The Cisco CCNP & CCDP certifications demonstrate that the engineer is fully versed in the LAN standards.  This includes the Implementation of TCP/IP layer 2-7 switching and optimization for efficiency and security.

Network Operating Systems

Network operating systems provide the core of the network.  The servers offer file, application, Internet, database and print services.  CNS offers both the Microsoft and Novell engineering certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Novell’s Master Certified Netware Engineer (M-CNE).  These certifications, with real world experience provide the customer with the highest quality of service.
